I still remember when we watched the film “Coco”,
Singing along to the song “Remember Me”.
Little did we know,
That that’s exactly where we’d be.
We didn’t ever expect,
What fate had got in store.
And didn’t know memories still to make,
Would only be a few more.
6 years we’ve lived in parrallel,
Of actual life and how it should be.
Split between making new memories,
And being sad you’re not hear to see.
But like in Coco, we hold tightly onto old photos,
And chatter about you always flows.
Laughing about old memories,
And so your legacy continues to grow.
So thank you for the 8 years,
And the magnificent time together.
We can’t make any more memories,
But what we had, I’ll always treasure.
